Flamboyant Gardens
Flamboyant Gardens was the first LSSVI housing community. It opened in 1986 on 7 acres in Estate Barron Spot, St Croix with 56 subsidized units for low income senior citizens over the age of 62 or with disabilities who are capable of independent living. Services include housing management and maintenance, social work and limited nursing managed care, limited transportation and homemaker service. Outside agencies provide additional homemaker, transportation, health care and meals programs. The facility also has a community center, maintenance building, and office/laundry building. Six apartments are equipped for wheelchair access.
