Director of Queen Louise Home for Children

 

The Director is responsible for creating an atmosphere that provides for continuity of quality care and quality of life for all clients living in the 24 hour living facilities including Sister Emma Cottage.  

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

·         BA or Masters Degree in Sociology, Social Work or Psychology. 

·         Minimum of five (5) years experience working in a residential or related facility. 

·         Minimum of three (3) years management experience.

·         Must be able to cope with mental and emotional stress related to working with clients who are ill, disabled and/or emotionally upset. 

·         Must have excellent communication and management skills. 

 

 

 

Nurse/Assistant Program Coordinator at Ginger Thomas Residence

 

REQUIRED KNOLWEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITLIES:

·         Ability to supervise during stressful situations while maintaining a calm and therapeutic manner.

·         Ability to respond to emergencies in a flexible manner (24 hour facility)

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Qualified to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse  (LPN)

·         Minimum Three Years supervisory experience

·         Valid VI Driver’s License

·         Ability to lift physically disabled residents (minimum of 50 pounds)
